Using our own journeys, experiences, tricks and tips, we have learnt to help those in the homeless community in Melbourne.
We are a group of peers who have had a variety of experiences with homelessness in Melbourne. We meet fortnightly at Kathleen Syme Library to produce ‘Need to Know’, a zine dedicated to providing useful, supportive and up-to-date information that Melbourne’s rough sleepers need to survive on the street.
We’ve had many contributors over the past few years and we thank you all.
Current contributors: Jenni, Lee, D, Emily and others who wish to remain anonymous.

“Last year I was a peer in this group and now I am a peer worker helping facilitate this group. It’s been a full circle and all thanks for this group and the people in it!” — Caity
